Julie Tavoso has represented many intended parents, gestational surrogates, egg donors, sperm providers and individuals pursuing arrangements utilizing assisted reproduction techniques, working closely with other professionals involved in collaborative reproduction arrangements, and assisting those in reaching their goals of building a family or helping to facilitate various arrangements.

Julie is a current member of the American Bar Association Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Committee (formerly served as the Vice Chair), the Chicago Bar Association (member of the ART subcommittee), SEEDS Ethics (Society for Ethics in Egg Donation & Surrogacy) and the Colorado Bar Association.
Julie is a former member of The American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys (AAARTA), served on the Board of Directors of Path2Parenthood (formerly the American Fertility Association) and acted as Boatd Secretary as a part of the executive committee of Path2Parenthood. She was also a member of the Legal Professionals Group within the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), RESOLVE, ACLU, the Human Rights Campaign and the Illinois State Bar Family Law Association.
